529 Plans: Investors should consider many factors before deciding which 529 plan is appropriate. Some of these factors include: the Plan’s investment options and the historical investment performance of these options, the Plan’s flexibility and features, the reputation and expertise of the Plan’s investment manager, Plan contribution limits and the federal and state tax benefits associated with an investment in the Plan. Some states, for example, offer favorable tax treatment and other benefits to their residents only if they invest in the state’s own Qualified Tuition Program. Investors should determine their home state’s tax treatment of 529 plans when considering whether to choose an in-state or out-of-state plan. Investors should consult with their tax or legal advisor before investing in any 529 Plan or contact their state tax division for more information. Steward Partners Investment Solutions, LLC does not provide tax and/or legal advice.

Asset Allocation and Diversification does not assure a profit or protect against loss in declining financial markets.

Bonds are subject to interest rate risk. When interest rates rise, bond prices fall; generally the longer a bond's maturity, the more sensitive it is to this risk. Bonds may also be subject to call risk, which is the risk that the issuer will redeem the debt at its option, fully or partially, before the scheduled maturity date. The market value of debt instruments may fluctuate, and proceeds from sales prior to maturity may be more or less than the amount originally invested or the maturity value due to changes in market conditions or changes in the credit quality of the issuer. Bonds are subject to the credit risk of the issuer. This is the risk that the issuer might be unable to make interest and/or principal payments on a timely basis. Bonds are also subject to reinvestment risk, which is the risk that principal and/or interest payments from a given investment may be reinvested at a lower interest rate.

CETIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®: Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Dollar Cost Averaging: Any type of continuous or periodic investment plan does not assure a profit and does not protect against loss in declining markets. Since such a plan involves continuous investment in securities regardless of fluctuating price levels of such securities, the investor should consider his financial ability to continue his purchases through periods of low price levels.

Equity Investing and Dividends: Equity securities may fluctuate in response to news on companies, industries, market conditions and the general economic environment. Companies cannot assure or guarantee a certain rate of return or dividend yield; they can increase, decrease or totally eliminate their dividends without notice.

Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

International investing: International investing may not be appropriate for every investor and is subject to additional risks, including currency fluctuations, political factors, withholding, lack of liquidity, the absence of adequate financial information, and exchange control restrictions impacting foreign issuers. These risks may be magnified in emerging markets.

Life Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance: Steward Partners Investment Solutions, LLC offers insurance products in conjunction with its licensed insurance agency affiliates.

Since life insurance and long-term care insurance are medically underwritten, you should not cancel your current policy until your new policy is in force.  A change to your current policy may incur charges, fees and costs.  A new policy will require a medical exam. Surrender charges may be imposed, and the period for which the surrender charges apply may increase with a new policy.  You should consult with your own tax advisors regarding your potential tax liability on surrenders.

Guarantees and contractual obligations are backed by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.

Mid-Cap Stocks: Stocks of medium-sized companies entail special risks, such as limited product lines, markets, and financial resources, and greater market volatility than securities of larger, more-established companies.

Rebalancing does not protect against a loss in declining financial markets. There may be a potential tax implication with a rebalancing strategy.  Investors should consult with their tax advisor before implementing such a strategy.

Small-Cap Stocks: Investing in smaller companies involves greater risks than those associated with investing in more established companies, including significant stock price fluctuations and illiquidity.
